Por lo que he visto en BTF y parece desde hace ya unos meses (medio año según he visto) están haciendo un CMSF de Afganistan con la URSS y la RDA contra los Mujaidines y Tropas afganas regulares en la decada de los 80.

La compañia rusa que colabora con BTF (que no es 1C) cree tener nicho de mercado en Rusia para un CMSF de estas características.

No es compatible con el CMSF y sus modulos occidentales.

Buenas Erwin, si hace ya tiempo que en el Foro de Battlefront comentaron que estaban desarrollando el juego. Como tu dices, parte del CMSF pero será un juego totalmente diferente y contará con unidades únicas empleadas por los rusos aquella guerra.
Por mi parte no me atrae demasiado y cuando salga el Normandia, calculo que para el primer trimestre del año que viene, voy a estar muy, pero que muy ocupado con él como para darle al Afganistan.

Podria ser interesante el juego, es cosa de probarlo cuando salga. Desconocia que tropas RDA hubiesen participado en la campaña sovietica en Afganistan.

Parece ser que en el Afganistan de los 80 las tropas de la RDA no eran de la Republica Democratica Alemana sino de la Republica Democratica de Afganistan. La faccion afgana prosovietica le cambio el nombre al país cuando tomo el poder. Todos los días se aprende algo nuevo. Saludos!

CM Afghanistan covers two periods of the Russian-Afghan wars - the initial phase 1980-1982, and the later years of highest activity 1985-1987 - in two campaigns and additionally ten standalone missions. The fully featured editor will of course allow players to create all new custom maps and missions.

The Stock Campaign and Missions

The two stock campaigns cover two periods of the Afghan wars - the beginning phase (1980-1982) and the later years of highest activity and most intense hostilities, 1985-1987. The tactics are different for these periods – during the first stage of the war, the mujahedeen forces attempted to fight against the Soviet Army and the Army of the DRA (Democratic Republic of Afghanistan) on “equal footing”. Later on, the mujahedeen realized that these tactics would not lead to success and they turned to guerrilla actions.

Campaign 1: Soviet Invasion

1980-1982. This campaign is dedicated to the 108th Motor Rifle Division, located in Kabul and Bagram. The 10 linked missions include clean-up operations, defensive assignments and escort duties in the Kabul, Kandagar, Parwan and other provinces.

Campaign 2: Bloody days

1985-1987. This campaign is dedicated to the 70th Motor Rifle Brigade, located in Kandagar, and is including assault, ambush and clean-up operations in the area.

Stand-alone missions

Ten stand-alone missions round out the stock missions, and include escort duties, clean-up operations, ambushes and night time assaults in the Helmand, Kunduz, Parwan, Nangarhar, Beglan and other provinces between 1981 and 1988.

Juer, tienes razón, qué poca imaginación. Lo que suelen tener en común es la vestimenta, su tradicional shalwar kameez; pero esos son todos clones del mismo.

Se lo podían haber currado un poquito más.



A mí este no me interesa, en principio. Creo que seguiré esperando que vuelva la 2GM a BTF, ya he tenido bastante guerra moderna. Me hago viejo para tanto disparo por minuto.
