Nice, i like the colour code over the map and if you add in the arrow the number of turn arrival could be perfect.

Maybe is a little confusing in the scen info screen because all them are together, units in map and reinforcements... i think here is better separate them, in one tag show the units in map and add another tag for reinforcements (even made diferent tags for reinforcements by turn).

the screenshot is a bit missleading. in this box only units arriving from off board will be shown.
no units on map. units in the first turn not have a colored box.

Yes, i undertand that no colour means the unit is over the map when scenario started but the problem is in the way you show units in scenario briefing, grouped by unit type, you see colour disperse, with low number of units and few reinforcements no problem but imagine a big scen with a lot of units and reinforcements arriving in more than 2 turns... a lot of colour.

This is why i suggest tags with units over map, turn x reinforcements etc etc, even is you keep the actual view with tags you can do like with my suggestion for scen list, filter and made easier find and understand info.

But is true that i didnt remember a game showing you your troops and reinforcements in the scen briefing, at best in scen description, you need enter ni scen to see if is present the unit you want see in combat, here your game offer something special and unique (i dont count Close Combat because here you can create your combat team BUT you need enter in scen to see the units avaliable).

the turn one units are not on map when scenario starts
they will come in the scenario at start of turn 1.
that sounds a bit like they are on map at start.
now the difference to that is you can have lets say 10 squads coming in on one empty hex.
but only 3 would be set up because of stacking limits.(3 squads is maximum)
Now when they move away together the next 3 are placed on board.
coming in means there must be space.
I am dealing with the idea they can also come in on adjacent arrows if those are empty.
and also enemys can not enter that hex.
Today this works the for first time.

Example

Reinforcements arriving in turn one. After moving the three just arrived squads and officer away from the hex with the arrow the next two squads arrive. Lots of troops can spawn in a single hex in one or more turns.

Is not a bad option... in Tiller games in certain titles you need release reinforcements and move them out to introduce more troops but i remember in Nap and EAW series you can release all units you want in an hex as reinforcements.

Maybe you can made reinforcements hexes be excluded of stack limitations... or made units in a reinforcement hex have 0 stack value but this only work fine in hexes in map borders, if you want made appear reinforcements in other map areas is a problem.

I dont know if you can made units that appear as reinforcements have stack value at 0 until they use action points... if you move them they have normal stack value and if somebody want exploit firing block reinforcement hex.

Nice, if reinforcements work fine... whats next step in core game features?.

The image is really good, if you manage to add the assault boats using a system similar to the one used in Steel Panthers could be a great new feature.

Well, game is ver attractive because is the closest evolution of Steel Panthers i ever see (there is another one but is so top secret that even the guys working on it dont know they are working on it :P ), the jump to 3D here i feel is correct, maybe the cartoon style could made it looks more "for kids" but in many aspects game is deeper than SP.

Well, step by step game is going to be a real true modern classic, expect all goes fine because we want enjoy it yesterday, not tomorrow :mrgreen:

PD: expect we can see the game with more nations and fronts added in future and i still have faith in see a WWIII version :mrgreen:
